ENA JASMIN CARROLL
I was born and raised in Eastern Europe and have been painting most of my life. I studied at the University of Minnesota and The Sorbonne, in Paris. I most often use acrylic and watercolor paints, as well as colored pencils and oil, and sometimes apply found objects such as driftwood and seaglass to my work.
I live close to Lake Michigan which figures prominently in my landscapes. I also enjoy gardening, so the flowers I paint are the whimsical little blooms I grow myself. I love creating beautiful images and sharing my work with others who may find their own meaning and joy in them.
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
